MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS

In the city of Torres Novas, as well as in the Middle Tagus region, there are many different options for those who want to have fun with this activity.

All the routes mentioned below start and end at the Cabeço das Pias/Vale da Serra MTB Center.

Almonda Route

It is considered an easy route, made of dirt roads and singletrack . Perfect for all times of the year. It has a distance of 18 km and an accumulated difference of 249 mts. This tour passes through Casal João Dias, Pedrogão, Ribeira Branca, Almonda and Vale da Serra, all very close to the Hotel.

Almourol Route

This is considered the most difficult route within all the routes in the region. It passes through Vale da Serra, Barreira Alva, Ribeira Branca, Paúl do Boquilobo, Vila Nova da Barquinha, Tancos, Atalaia, Golegã, among others. It has about 84 km, an accumulated difference of 1108 mts and a big degree of difficulty. With dirt roads, singltrack in dirt and asphalt.

Templar Path

This route has a distance of 80 km, an accumulated difference of 1772 mts and is considered a difficult level. It has dirt roads and singletrack on land, passing through places such as Casal João dias, Pedrogão, Chancelaria, Outeiro Grande, Moreiras Grandes, Porto da Lage, Vilar dos Prazeres, among others.

Snakes Course
This route is considered to be of moderate difficulty, passing through dirt and stone roads as well as stone singletrack. It has a distance of 33 km, an accumulated difference of 621 mts. It starts and ends at the MTB Center in Cabeço das Pias, passing through Casal da Pinheira, Ribeira Ruiva, Lapas, Pedrogão, among other locations.
Aire Route
This route is very difficult because it has dirt and stone roads and singletrack on dirt and stone. It has a distance of 42 km, an accumulated difference of 1078 mts, being interesting to do throughout the year. It passes through Pedrogão, Alqueidão, Vale Alto, among other places.
