The Aires da Serra Hotel, located in Torres Novas, has 18 accommodation units, two rooms for meetings and gatherings and private parking.

If you prefer to relax at our hotel, we will be happy to prepare a delicious meal, a simple snack or a cheese and cold meat board.

Our SPA allows you to have a massage and enjoy the indoor jacuzzi, as well as yoga and meditation classes. We also have a small gym and, between May and October, you can enjoy the outdoor pools (one with heated water) to swim or relax.

About Us

Our Journey

Mid-1960s

Once upon a time there was a couple of lovers. Hortense and Vasco. After dating for a few years, they got married and had a baby called Ana. In the mid-1960s, the couple, who lived in Lisbon, decided to build a house in their hometown of Torres Novas.

Mid-1970s

The villa had everything: several bedrooms, two kitchens, two living rooms, a cellar, a games room, a sewing room for Hortense to work in – since Hortense was what we would call a fashion designer today – a garden and a swimming pool. Vasco’s Quintinha, as it was called and became known, welcomed many people who joined the couple on countless evenings to enjoy various games and socialize with a glass in their hand.

2010

Fifty years on, it was the turn of their daughter Ana and her husband João to give a new lease of life to the house where her parents and parents-in-law had welcomed so many people. They created a hotel. After a period of building work, it finally opened its doors in April 2016.

2018

More recently, in 2018, the family decided to extend it and build another 4 apartments and 3 rooms nearby, between the hotel and the events hall. These have already been in operation since May 2019.

Mais do que uma estadia

The new accommodations have a shabby chic décor (a style that began in Britain in the 1970s and 1980s) where you can choose to stay for short or long periods. We also have two jacuzzis, as well as a spa, where you can relax with a massage, enjoy the jacuzzi or a yoga class.
